Na'ima Sanaa is the middle child of five and grew up in Washington, Pennsylvania where she graduated from Trinity High School. She graduated from Penn Commercial, Inc. in 1995 with an Associates Degree in Business Administration. She worked in a bank and then briefly as a secretary before moving to Louisville, Kentucky. In 2002, Na'ima received a Diploma with Highest Honors in Astrology/Parapsychology from Stratford Career Institute.
Her first printed work, under the name Ofira Sephiroth, Unspeakable Truths, Volume 1: Damnation Begins was published in 2007. The second volume, Unspeakable Truths, Volume 2: Baptism By Blood was published in 2009. The third and final volume of the Unspeakable Truths trilogy will be released in late 2012.
In 2008, she released the first of the Versified trilogy - Versified Darkness. The Versified trilogy will be poetry books devoted to various poetry forms. The second volume, Versified Delusions, will be released in late 2012.
Na'ima is also an Indie artist. Forming Mortis de Serpentis Productions in 2006, she began composing Electronic music under the pseudonym Lady Venom. She also makes music under the names Versucht zu Töten (VzT) and Aggereth bat Mahathallah (AbM - formerly Beautifully Dead). Na'ima also writes flash fiction, short stories and novels under the pen name Pia Zellini as part of the writing team Delgado Zellini.
When not writing or composing music, Na'ima enjoys bowling, spending time with pets and watching horror movies. She currently resides in Louisville, Kentucy.
Na'ima (pronounced nah-EEM-ah), is a female Swahili name that means Graceful. It's also Arabic, where it means Tranquil.
Sanaa (pronounced sah-NAH) is a female Swahili name that means Work of Art, Beauty. In Arabic, Sanaa means Brilliance, Splendor. Among Hindus, the name means Long Lasting.
